Amnesia: Memories Game Review!
Hello there! Sugar here! Today I will be reviewing a game for you otome lovers. This is the SIMPLE EDITION, meaning that this review is kinda spoiler free, and it is simple.
Plot
Amnesia starts off with you, the heroine, that loses her memories. The title already hinted that. So, your memories are gone but along with you is a spirit, named Orion. Together with him, you travel to 5 different worlds that has different guys in them and different situations. You have the Heart World, the Clover World, the Spade World, the Diamond World and the secret special one, the Joker World. This world is unlocked after you got all good endings in the other worlds.
So, you may be wondering which belongs in which. Don't worry, I'm on it.
Worlds
The Heart World
The heart world is Shin's world. Or maybe the Red one. Shin's world is kinda like your typical romance otome game. Well, I can't judge cause I haven't played his route yet. But, if you like the heart warming guy that will always protect your back, then go for it.Character
I can explain Shin's personality briefly without spoiling. He is heart warming and always kind to you. He cares for you in many different ways and his protectiveness is not that high so don't worry. You will love him right when you start up the game. He is that lovely.
The Spade World
The Spade World is owned by Ikki. It's right to notice that Ikki does have a pin that shapes as a spade cliped onto his hair. So that's good. I personally haven't played his route yet. Just like halfway. But all I can say is that you need to deal with fans. Yes, fans. It's kind of a risky world that you need to go into. But if you pick everything alright, Ikki is still good and a kind guy, trust me.Character
From what I've seen, Ikki is famous for his looks and personality. He is kind to girls and his beauty is what attracts them. Ikki does mention that he has power in his eyes that can simply attract any woman. He even has his own fan club. Boy, sure is popular.
The Clover World
The most calm world I've been in. The Clover World is owned by Kent. This world is harm free. But not feelings free unfortunately. This is the first ever world I picked and I was so happy to have picked this one. The Clover World is not that attention seeker from the players. You would probably pick Shin or Ikki or Toma first. This world lacks the popularity.Character
Kent is a maths freak. He likes doing hard maths puzzles and everything. He's smart and seldom spends his time with you due to his work. He is not familiar with love but he still wants to find someone that could suit him. He is calm and always has reasons and reasons everywhere. He talks a lot too. Maths and science talk to be exact. But the more you progress, the more attached you feel for him..so don't worry.
The Diamond World
The Diamond World is owned by Toma. This world is kinda like Shin's Heart World. It is similar but there is some secret that I will not give away. This world is cool and nice but there are some threats in it so bear that in mind.Character
Toma is a sweet and kind person that will always look after you. He also has a close relationship with Shin. No wonder their worlds were kinda alike. He will always try to protect you at all costs and will want your attention sometimes. And also secrets...find them out for yourself, it's an adventure. But overall, Toma is a good guy, I swear.
Gameplay
Easy. You just go through text and pick the RIGHT choices. You can also skip texts if you want. You also have Perimeters that looks at your characters affection, trust and suspicion. Note that, these guys do not know you have amnesia. Other than that, you have mini games to enjoy as well in the main menu. Win at least three times in each game and you will get a special art!
Opinion
This game is amazing. This is one of a few otome games that I actually enjoy. The OST is perfect that makes the scenes stand out more. Also will bring feels. And the character stylization is out of the damn roof. It's unique and it's amazing. The endings are sometimes not what I expect as well. Overall, I would recommend you play this game. For the otome lovers though. But if you wanna try and play, go ahead! The opening and the good endings also have good songs!
Info and Adaptations
This game is available on Steam, Android and Xbox 360 apparently? And apparently, the game has an anime adaptation. But I highly recommend the game first, the the anime. Just to get the goods out first. I didn't watch the anime cause the ratings are quite low. All because of the heroine.
